Good.is bad

If you have not seen, the blog GOOD.is has had a facelift, more accurately a facial reconstruction. They have stripped the site down and cleaned it up. The new site is very clean, and focuses on social implementation. Everywhere you look there is a way to share or tell who is liking what article.
The vast amount of white space around each article does your eyes no favor, creating a site that has content behind a eye sore of junk. The titles and images disappear in sea of white. If you can make it past the home page and find the article you want to read, you might actually be surprised. The single article page has a wider text section then their previous site. While the text is still floating in the sea of white, the padding around the article helps let you scrolls and smoothly read the article.
Once again there is a good amount of sharing opportunities and indicators on the page and If you look around you might get lost on what exactly they are trying to show you. I still can’t seem to figure it out.
Take a look at the new re-design and see for yourself.
